Location Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

• Job Type: Full-Time (30–35 hours per week), Permanent

• Pay Rate: $32–$36 per hour.

Role Overview

We are hiring ONE dependable fleet manager to support our operations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values efficiency, safety, and customer service. The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and coordination of the company’s fleet and drivers. This role ensures all transport runs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet. Scheduling and allocating vehicles and drivers to ensure timely delivery of courier services. Monitoring vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.

Ensuring all vehicles are maintained, serviced, and repaired in accordance with company requirements and legal standards.

Keeping accurate records of vehicle registrations, insurance, Warrant of Fitness (WoF), Road User Charges (RUC), and maintenance history.

Monitoring driver performance and ensuring compliance with company policies and road transport regulations.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and transport industry regulations.

This role ensures all transport runs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Requirements Applicants must meet one of the following:

• At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience, OR

• A Level 5 Diploma or higher qualification (subject area flexible)

Additional Requirements

• Physically fit.

• Class 1 Driver Licence.

• Clean criminal record.

• Willingness to complete mandatory drug testing.

• Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs in the workplace.
