Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented Intermediate Software Engineer to join our amazing team at Tower!

Your day-to-day would look like

• Delivering accessible user experiences for customers, building and or connect them to their data via APIs.
• Enjoying a self-driven culture with empowerment over control
• Breaking down complex problems into simple solutions while growing both yourself and peers in the process.

In your first 6-12 months, success will look like:

• Creating backend solutions using .NET or Java/Kotlin and Docker
• Integrating with internal & external systems including databases
• Promoting good engineering practices such as TDD & Clean Code
• Communicating with peers and stakeholders to produce better outcomes
• Maintaining back-end infrastructure through timely upgrades of outdated code and packages
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers

To thrive in this role, you'll need

• Relevant degree/certification with experience in .NET or Java/Kotlin (Spring/Micronaut)
• Strong API development, SQL skills, and knowledge of XML/CSS/JSON
• Solid experience in agile delivery, testing (unit & integration), and secure coding
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and open‑source tools
• Skilled in facilitating technical discussions and presenting solutions, with strong interpersonal skills
