About The Role
We’re on hunt for Electricians to join our teams in either Palmerston North and Hastings.
You’ll work hands-on with a highly skilled crew supporting Transpower’s national grid, one of New Zealand’s most critical infrastructure networks. Your work will take you across stunning outdoor sites while you help maintain and enhance the systems that keep our country powered.
In this role, you’ll be involved in
Installing, maintaining, and commissioning high‑voltage equipment (transformers, switchgear, protection relays, VT/CTs, and more)
Performing LV electrical work within substations
Supporting nationwide grid enhancement and asset replacement programmes
Ensuring the safe, reliable operation of essential electricity network sites

About You
EWRB registration + Current practising licence
A full, clean NZ Class 1 licence (Class 2 a bonus)
Solid electrical experience, ideally in the HV industry
Strong communication skills, practical problem‑solving ability, and a commitment to Health & Safety
