We're seeking a commercially minded Estimator to join our growing team based in Taranaki, supporting both the Drillco and New Energy brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building relationships and contributing to the successful delivery of construction, drilling and renewable energy projects.

Working closely with our Lead Estimator and Operations teams, you will be responsible for preparing quotations, supporting tender submissions, obtaining supplier pricing, maintaining customer relationships and identifying opportunities to support business growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing quotations and pricing submissions
• Reviewing project scopes and customer requirements
• Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Supporting tender preparation and submissions
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Following up quotations and maintaining communication throughout the pricing process
• Visiting customers and industry contacts to strengthen relationships and understand upcoming opportunities
• Promoting Drillco's services and capabilities within the market
• Maintaining estimating records and pricing databases
• Supporting project handovers to Operations teams
• Supporting both the Drillco and New Energy businesses

What We're Looking For

• Experience in estimating, quoting, project coordination, construction administration, procurement or a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence engaging with customers and representing the business professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Construction, civil, drilling, infrastructure or renewable energy experience is advantageous
• Willingness to travel as required to support customer relationships and business development activities
