The Opportunity

Busck Group is seeking to appoint an Independent Director to support the continued growth and

strategic evolution of the business.

In addition to Busck Prestressed Concrete’s seven manufacturing sites nationwide, the group also

includes Titan Engineering, Herd Homes, Concrete Lifting Systems and Allied Concrete Whangārei. The

Board also oversees several property companies that house its various manufacturing sites across

the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and direction to the board and management

• Contribute to growth strategy, market positioning, and capital allocation decisions

• Bring informed perspective on industry dynamics, supply chain risks, and pricing cycles

• Support governance across a multi-entity, vertically integrated group

• Monitor performance across financial, operational, H&S and ESG dimensions

• Constructively challenge management while supporting strategic execution

Skills & Experience

We are seeking a Director with strong commercial capability and proven industry experience in the

concrete, precast, or adjacent construction/manufacturing sectors.

Essential

• Senior leadership or governance experience in precast concrete, concrete manufacturing, or

closely related industry

• Deep understanding of production, logistics, and project-based delivery environments

• Experience navigating infrastructure or construction cycles in New Zealand

Highly regarded

• Experience in vertically integrated or multi-entity group structures

• Exposure to capital investment, plant utilisation, or manufacturing efficiency optimisation

• Background in infrastructure supply (e.g. utilities, rail, civil, or commercial construction)

• Prior Board or advisory experience (or readiness to step into a governance role)
