Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are a dedicated small team comprising of an injury management function and a general wellbeing function, sitting within a wider health safety and security team. The wider team are based in multiple locations throughout New Zealand and the current return to work and early intervention specialist is based in Auckland.
The Return to Work and Injury Management Advisor is responsible for managing a shared inbox, managing electronic records, triaging injury reports, liaising with injured staff and their managers, liaising with our third party adminstrator, ensuring injury reports are entered, ensuring manager compliance expectations are met, and contributing to the organisation meeting the Accredited Employer Programme Assessment Requirements.
This role will be based at our Ellerslie Office (Auckland) and will be flexible between working from home and the office. This role is cover for an existing staff member who is on secondment until 30 June 2027. Candidates for this role are required to already be based in Auckland or be willing to relocate for this opportunity

Key requirements of the role include:
- At least five years experience working in administrative or coordinator type roles
- Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties
- Self-starter and ability to work independently and identify opportunities to drive positive outcomes
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
