We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll lead frontline crews, coordinate people, plant and materials, and help deliver safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance work that keeps communities moving.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be right in the thick of it, leading from the front and making sure work is planned, resourced and delivered safely. This is a hands-on leadership role where you may lead multiple operational crews while staying close to the work on site. You’ll help drive Good Work every day by keeping standards high, backing your team, and making sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to spec.

- Lead and support frontline crews to deliver maintenance work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate people, plant and materials so planned work is ready to go and completed on time.
- Manage safe work environments for employees, subcontractors and the public across your sites.
- Hold and take part in pre-starts, identify hazards, and make sure the right controls are in place before work begins.
- Deliver strong service to customers and stakeholders while maintaining quality, productivity and environmental standards.
- Grow and develop your team by providing clear direction, practical support and leadership on site.
- Ensure all work is programmed, completed and claimed through our AWM system.

- A current Class 1 drivers’ licence.
- Experience using AWM (Asset & Work Manager), formerly known as RAMM (Roading Asset Maintenance Management)
- Class 2 with Wheels Tracks and Rollers endorsements or the willingness to gain them with our support.
- A current First Aid certificate or ability to obtain one with our support.
- Proven experience leading crews in a maintenance, civil, construction or similar operational environment.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and doing the job right the first time.
- A practical, proactive approach and confidence working outdoors in a hands-on environment.
- The ability to motivate others, build strong working relationships and keep work moving.
- A down-to-earth attitude, pride in your work, and a genuine team-first mindset.
