He Angitūtanga / The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced

Manager – Accounts to lead our transactional finance function based in Auckland. This role is responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls across a high-volume, multi-site environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in strengthening financial discipline, improving processes, and supporting the business through effective stakeholder engagement and insights.

Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Manage aged receivables and payables, driving improvements in working capital and cash flow
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, including reconciliations, compliance, and audit support
  • Oversee month-end activities related to AP/AR, including accruals and cut-off
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the AP/AR team to deliver high performance and continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements, including ERP optimisation
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across operations, procurement, and support functions

He Kōrero Mōu / About You

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in finance/accounting, including leadership of transactional finance teams
  • Strong experience in AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-site environment
  • Strong systems capability (SAP or similar ERP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA (or working towards) preferred
