About the role | Mō te tūranga

You’ll join a collaborative, people‑centred team within Corporate Trustee Services, helping deliver trusted supervision services to corporate clients. Each day brings variety - analysing reports, reviewing disclosure documents, monitoring risk and compliance, and contributing to the supervision of products like KiwiSaver schemes, superannuation schemes, managed funds and debt securities.

You’ll partner closely with Client Service Managers and connect with people at all levels, from frontline teams to senior leaders. If you enjoy digging into detail, asking smart questions, and turning complex information into clear insights, this role gives you plenty of scope to do meaningful work that supports better outcomes for all New Zealanders.

You’ll be involved in

  • Monitoring and analysing client reporting and financial information
  • Reviewing disclosure documents and trust deed requirements
  • Conducting controls and assurance testing and participating in client monitoring visits
  • Drafting and delivering clear, professional reports and communications
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver on our supervisory obligations
  • Supporting CTS projects and contributing to continuous improvement

About you | Ngā kōrero mōu

You’re someone who enjoys unpacking complexity, working with data, and providing insights that help others make sound decisions. You’re naturally curious, take a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and communicate clearly with a wide range of people. You value accuracy, fairness, and collaboration - and you’re keen to grow your expertise in a purpose‑driven organisation.

You’ll bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services - ideally in Managed Funds, Audit/Risk or Corporate Trustee work
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial information
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid working knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. FMC Act, KiwiSaver Act)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to step back and see the bigger picture
  • Comfort working with technology and intermediate Excel skills

While this role is ideally suited to candidates with 3+ years of experience in financial services, we are also open to considering candidates with fewer years of relevant experience who demonstrate strong capability and growth potential. In such cases, the role may be adjusted and appointed at an Associate level, in line with experience and capability.
