We’re looking for a Corporate Liability Distribution Manager to provide strategic underwriting leadership across our large corporate liability portfolio, with a strong focus on complex financial lines risks including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Cyber.

This is a high impact, market-facing leadership role where you’ll own key corporate accounts, build and convert pipelines, and drive profitable growth. You’ll play a critical role in shaping underwriting outcomes, strengthening broker partnerships, and positioning IAG as a leader in the liability market.

This is a permanent full-time role ideally based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do

  • Deliver and execute the liability strategy for large corporate and complex portfolios, aligned to NZI and IAG NZ priorities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of large, high-value corporate accounts, driving profitable outcomes
  • Build and convert new business pipeline through strong broker engagement
  • Provide oversight of portfolio performance, pricing and emerging risks
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex, high-risk underwriting decisions
  • Lead and influence underwriting outcomes across teams while coaching and uplifting capability

Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in large corporate liability underwriting, with expertise in PI, D&O and/or Cyber, ideally within multinational underwriting environments
  • Proven track record of winning, retaining and growing major corporate accounts
  • Strong, established broker relationships and market reputation within the financial lines space
  • Experience managing portfolio performance while leading and negotiating complex corporate accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen with confidence in negotiation and decision-making
  • Proven leadership experience, including leading through influence and developing high-performing teams
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery
