We're on the hunt for the ultimate sales champion to join our Queenstown Visitor Centre Team! You'll effectively sell our RealNZ experiences and bring with you a hunger to achieve optimum revenue performance. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to all visitors, therefore we are seeking someone to inspire and inform guests about our 'must see' and 'must experience' products.
This role also includes an operational aspect as you'll be responsible alongside the operations team to ensure our Coach, TSS Earnslaw and Rafting experiences run smoothly.
As part of this role you will
- Create and identify sales opportunities for our experiences and accommodation
- Maximise each sales opportunity by determining individuals requirements to achieve results
- Create reservations for experiences and accommodation, confirming bookings
- Influence guests with your passion to book a 'must see' experience
- Deliver exceptional guest experience, including answering general enquiries
- Demonstrate expert knowledge to effectively sell RealNZ experiences
- Coordinate passenger manifests, ticketing and itineraries

We're looking for someone who has
- Minimum 1 year sales/reservations experience
- At least 6 months experience working in the tourism industry
- Tourism-related qualification (preferred)
- Confident and engaging communicator with a positive and exuberant can-do attitude
- Excellent knowledge of Queenstown and Fiordland regions
- Experience in reservations systems
- Bonus if you can speak another language in addition to English!
