About The Business
Salvation Army Social Housing (SASH) is a registered Community Housing Provider supporting whānau across Aotearoa. We provide warm, safe and affordable homes, alongside support services that help build strong, connected communities.
About The Role
This role provides essential administrative and coordination support to the Housing Support Team. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the SASH programme by managing tenancy-related administration, supporting financial processes, and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
What Will Your Responsibilities Be
- Provide administrative support across the Housing Support Team
- Maintain tenancy and property records in the tenancy management system
- Prepare tenancy documentation and coordinate tenancy-related communications
- Manage inboxes and act as a first point of contact for enquiries
- Support tenancy processes by collating and distributing required information
- Maintain accurate and secure filing systems in line with privacy requirements
- Assist with office coordination, supplies, travel bookings, and meeting logistics
- Support team operations through general administrative tasks and coordination
Our Ideal Candidate Will
- Have strong administrative experience, ideally in a multi-functional organisation
- Bring basic bookkeeping or financial processing experience
- Be highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word and Excel)
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Show cultural awareness and a commitment to working respectfully across diverse communities
- Have a genuine alignment with the mission and values of The Salvation Army

This role is permanent, full-time, working
37.5 hours per week.
The starting salary for this role will fall between
$29.00 hourly & $33.00 hourly (depending on experience).
