About The Role

Southern Cross Health Insurance serves close to one million members across Aotearoa. Right now, we're building out our technology capability - engineering, data & AI, product - and we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcing) who can find great people and look after them properly while they are going through a recruitment process with us.

This is a full-time, 9-month fixed term role supporting a busy period, based at Te Kupenga in the Auckland CBD.

What You'll Do

You'll be working alongside the Talent Acquisition team to source across our hard-to-fill roles covering the inbound that comes with a strong brand, and the outbound where we need more proactive work to find great talent. Building pipelines, running searches, and getting clear on what great actually looks like before you go looking for it.

You’ll have sharp instincts in the NZ tech market, real fluency across LinkedIn Recruiter, social and your own networks, and genuine care for how every candidate experiences the process - not just the candidates who get the job.

You'll also keep an eye on the data: what's working, what isn't, and where we can get better.

What You'll Bring

• Proven sourcing experience across tech talent - engineers, data, product
• Deep expertise in proactive and digital sourcing channels
• The ability to assess for both technical fit and cultural alignment
• Ownership mindset - you won't always be handed a map, and you're resourceful enough to find your way without one
• Strong analytics instincts when it comes to tracking what matters and using it to sharpen your approach
• Agency or in-house background, either works if you can hit the ground running
