About The Role
We’re looking for a Product Analyst to join our High Security team and play a key role in turning product, pricing and performance data into clear, practical recommendations. Working closely with the Product Manager and teams across engineering, operations, marketing and sales, you’ll help guide decisions that keep our High Security product portfolio performing, improving and delivering value for customers.
This is a varied role where you’ll combine analysis, coordination and continuous improvement. From maintaining performance reporting and supporting pricing reviews, through to product documentation, business case reviews and lifecycle data management, you’ll help ensure our product decisions are informed, our information is accurate, and our processes are well managed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyse product performance, trends and opportunities across the High Security portfolio, translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Support pricing analysis, initial product price positioning and regular pricing reviews.
- Maintain and improve High Security performance metrics, reporting and business case repositories.
- Coordinate product lifecycle activity, including part creation and updates, product hierarchy maintenance and third-party product range support.
- Manage the product documentation, web content and catalogue information review process, recommending improvements in partnership with technical and marketing teams.
- Support RDTI compliance activity, including High Security Value Stream reporting, audits and timesheet maintenance.
About You
You’re an analytical thinker who enjoys digging into data, finding the story behind the numbers and turning complex information into clear recommendations. You’ll be eager to learn about our product solutions, and flexible in the work undertake to help our team achieve its goals. You’re naturally curious, organised and confident working across teams.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
- At least 2–5 years’ experience in a product, business or market analysis role, ideally within a technology, security or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using quantitative and qualitative research to support business decisions.
- Experience working with analytics and operational tools such as Excel, Power BI and SAP, with a desire to harness AI tools to improve your and the team’s performance.
- Clear communication and documentation skills, including confidence presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- The ability to build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams, including product, engineering, operations, marketing and commercial stakeholders.
Security requirements: To be considered for this role, you will be required to gain and maintain a security clearance (to at least Confidential level). To be eligible to obtain this security clearance, you must be an NZ permanent resident and have resided continuously in NZ or one of the 5 Eyes countries (NZ, USA, UK, Canada, Australia) for the past 5 years.
