InterGroup is looking for a CCTV Trainee / Labourer to join our Wellington team. This is an entry-level opportunity to learn the specialised field of pipeline inspection, working alongside experienced operators who will train and support you every step of the way.

No CCTV experience is required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

About the Role

As a CCTV Trainee / Labourer, you'll support our CCTV Operators inspecting underground pipelines and drainage networks using specialised camera equipment.

You'll assist with setting up equipment, traffic management, site preparation, cleaning pipelines, and general operational duties while learning how to operate CCTV inspection systems and interpret pipeline conditions.

This is a physical, outdoor role that offers variety, ongoing learning, and the opportunity to develop into a qualified CCTV Operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist CCTV Operators with pipeline inspection activities

• Set up and pack down equipment and work sites

• Support pipeline cleaning and preparation activities

• Complete general labouring and operational tasks

• Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working order

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Learn CCTV inspection processes and industry standards

• Work across a variety of sites throughout the Wellington region

What We're Looking For

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Full Class 1 driver's licence preferred

• Class 2 licence advantageous

• Experience in drainage, civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, plumbing, or related industries beneficial but not essential

• Previous CCTV, pipeline, surveying, or asset inspection experience advantageous but not expected
