Retail Store Manager

We are looking for Retail Store Manager to join our team at our Hamilton based Retail store. As a Retail Store Manager you will handle the Store Operations responsibly and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. You will be working independently at our busy store which has great foot and vehicle traffic. You will organise and control the Store to ensure it is always in a presentable manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

• Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices of all products

• Manage visual merchandising,Store layout, Promotions, and in store offers ( subject to advertising restrictions )

• Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use

• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

• Undertaking budgeting for the establishment

• Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes:

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday

• 2 years Relevant Experience / or Relevant Qualification preferred.

• Communication skills and Handling customers professionally

• Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-pacedenvironment.

• To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have the legal right to work in NZ full time.
