Due to business growth and increasing demand, the company requires an Event Sales and Business Development Coordinator to promote events, secure sponsorship opportunities, increase venue bookings and maintain customer relationships.
Event Sales and Business Development Coordinator
Trivision Entertainment Limited is an Auckland-based entertainment and event management company and the parent company of Trivision Event Centre, a modern multi-purpose venue located in Papatoetoe. We specialise in organising Indian weddings, cultural programmes, Bollywood concerts, corporate functions and community events, serving Auckland's diverse multicultural communities.
Due to increasing demand for venue bookings, event promotions and customer engagement, we are seeking an experienced Event Sales and Business Development Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market Trivision Event Centre and events organised by Trivision Entertainment Limited.
- Generate venue bookings for weddings, receptions, corporate functions and community events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors and business partners.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and sales reports.
- Assist with social media and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct follow-up with prospective customers and maintain customer databases.
- Coordinate ticket promotions and event sales activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to enquiries.
- Assist clients with planning and organising events in accordance with their cultural and traditional requirements.
- Support the growth and development of the business through proactive sales initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum two years' experience in sales, marketing, customer service or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
- Sound knowledge of Indian wedding customs, cultural traditions and rituals.
- Familiarity with Bollywood music and entertainment trends.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
