About the role
As Head of Digital, you will lead and create tailor-made digital first strategic solutions to fit each client’s (and prospect client’s) goals, objectives, preferences and budgets. Working within multi channel marketing and media strategies, you will incorporate programmatic, social and further digitalised offline channels as well as maximise AI/automation and OM products and services.
Bringing a consultative mindset to our client’s business, you will work with the GBD’s and their supporting team, to lead of quality recommendations across all digitalised solutions. Looking to constantly develop and refine to ensure innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Hearts.
Working hand in hand with the OM COE, you will ensure that any strategy designed is implemented effectively and is constantly optimised. You will act as a digital coach across the rest of the agency ensuring that everyone within the team has both an adequate understanding of digital technology and channels and a passion to learn more.
You must be continually evolving to stay abreast of industry trends because digitalis a fast-changing space. What worked six months ago might not work today. That’s why you must keep reading, networking, refining and updating your skills to stay ahead of emerging distribution channel and technological trends.
With circa 10+ years’ experience in digital media and or technology, you foster open dialogue,
collaboration and learning among the wider team.
Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years of strategy/planning/implementation of digital campaigns
- People leadership experience and team-first mentality
- Knowledge and understanding of client business/current issues and marketplace trends/emerging trends
- Passion for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing
- Knowledge of digital media platforms & techniques (e.g. GMP, Perion/Vistar)
- Knowledge of audience planning & insight platforms
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills
- Critical thinker with ability to make complex decisions
- Ability to influence and drive a culture of test & learn
- Strong ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
