Wine Ambassador (Seasonal)

As the face of our acclaimed family-owned organic wine estate, you will play an important role in creating memorable visitor experiences and fostering lasting customer relationships. This varied position combines wine hosting and sales, guest services, administration, and digital engagement.

We are seeking a warm, knowledgeable and sales-minded ambassador who can confidently host premium wine experiences for discerning wine enthusiasts while contributing wherever needed within our small, hands-on team.

Key Responsibilities

• Host premium wine tastings and private wine experiences with confidence and expertise

• Convert visits into meaningful wine sales and lasting customer relationships

• Introduce guests to our wine club through genuine personal engagement

• Support vineyard cottage guests from reservation to departure

• Manage bookings, guest enquiries and point-of-sale operations

• Assist with customer communications, administration and database management

• Create occasional content for social media and marketing initiatives

• Contribute wherever needed within our small family winery team

What We Are Looking For

• Strong wine knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss wine, viticulture and food pairing with guests

• Wine qualifications (WSET Level 2 or higher, sommelier training, or equivalent wine industry experience) strongly preferred

• A warm, confident and sales-minded host with exceptional people skills

• Previous experience in wine tourism, fine wine retail, hospitality or luxury tourism

• Strong organisational and administrative skills

• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
