We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader – Timetabling to lead the delivery, development, and optimisation of timetabling services across MIT | Unitec. This is a pivotal leadership role, ensuring high-quality scheduling that enhances the student journey while maximising space utilisation.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Timetabling, you will lead a high-performing timetabling team responsible for delivering efficient, effective, and student-focused scheduling services.
You will
Drive the continuous improvement of timetabling systems, processes, and reporting
Lead the delivery of key operational and administrative functions
Collaborate with academic and operational stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes
Manage team performance, workload planning, and peak delivery periods
Ensure quality assurance, process consistency, and performance benchmarks are met
This role requires strong expertise in timetabling, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership, with a focus on achieving results in a complex environment.
Proven experience in timetabling, scheduling, or planning
Leadership experience in a complex organisation
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
Advanced organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience improving processes and driving operational efficiency
