The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time basis.

In this dynamic role, you'll work across the full finance function, contributing to month-end closing, monthly board reporting, forecasting and budgeting, year-end and audit support, as well as any annual reporting. You'll also take ownership of reviewing and improving key processes across payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, helping to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial performance.

Beyond the day-to-day, you'll have the opportunity to also get involved in process and systems optimisation efforts (as we implement our new finance system), project work, and ongoing improvements. Our successful candidate will be a highly organised and detail-oriented team player with advanced Excel skills, strong finance systems experience, and excellent communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Business Central and ERP implementations will be highly regarded.

About You

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified, with a minimum of 10 years' practical accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting and finance systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for improving processes, systems, and reporting
  • The ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working within a health industry or primary health organisation is preferred, but not essential
  • Cultural competence with the ability to understand, communicate with and effectively interact with people across cultures
