Project Manager
New Zealand King Salmon
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of operational and supply chain projects that lift efficiency, strengthen performance, and support critical business initiatives. Projects will vary significantly in scope, size and shape, but will include production machinery, automation, plant and physical construction activities, among others.
This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are well‑scoped, commercially sound, and delivered in close partnership with the rest of the business. As a central driver of continuous improvement, you’ll optimise end‑to‑end processes, champion safe and sustainable ways of working, and help shape the future capability of our operational network.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of operations and supply chain projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, budgets, and success measures
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate promptly to enable timely resolution
- Lead process mapping, workflow redesign, and standardisation initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, briefings, and training sessions to support project adoption and readiness
- Provide clear, concise updates tailored to operational, technical, and leadership audiences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in business, operations, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
- Project management certification preferable
- Proven experience delivering projects in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, aquaculture, logistics, or similar environments
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
- To be proficient with project management tools and ERP/supply chain systems
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
