Contract Flooring Installation 2002 Ltd is one of New Zealand's leading commercial flooring contractors, delivering flooring, tiling, waterproofing, concrete preparation and specialist flooring projects throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Installation Manager to join our team and take responsibility for coordinating labour, managing installers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.
This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who understands the realities of construction and can effectively manage people, programmes and client expectations.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Booking and scheduling installers and subcontractors.
- Managing wage staff and daily labour allocation.
- Coordinating site deliveries, materials and equipment.
- Monitoring project progress and productivity.
- Managing installer performance and attendance.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and site managers.
- Resolving site issues and programme changes.
- Ensuring projects are adequately resourced.
- Maintaining strong communication between office and site teams.
- Assisting with Health & Safety compliance.
- Managing client expectations and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Supporting the team to deliver projects safely, on time and to specification.
Essential Experience
Applicants must have proven experience in some of the following areas:
- Commercial flooring.
- Commercial tiling.
- Internal waterproofing.
- Managing installers and subcontractors.
- Managing wage staff.
- Construction site supervision.
- Labour scheduling and resource planning.
- Managing client expectations.
- Commercial construction project delivery.
- Reading plans, specifications and construction programmes.

Trade experience in flooring, tiling or waterproofing will be highly regarded and may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
