We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our award-winning team based in our Auckland or Wellington Office. The Management Accountant is an engaging and diverse role working closely with cost centre managers focusing on reporting, forecasting and budgeting across business groups and on high profile projects.
You will have the ability to work with a broad range of internal stakeholders and government bodies giving you an interesting and varied mix of work that results in better outcomes for New Zealand.
We are looking for someone that can provide high quality support and reporting of business targets, as well as the ability to track and improve performance.
Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu - What You Will Bring
- CA/CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualification and 5 years or more post qualification work experience.
- The ability to provide meaningful insights through your excellent analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to have robust and challenging conversations with Senior Leaders.
- Clear and logical thinking and planning capability, with the ability to work independently through complexities.
- Strong technical experience in your field of expertise - you are system savvy and have good financial skills.
- A commercially focused, results driven approach with a proactive work ethic.
- Confidence and experience in managing relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
- A focus on continuous business process improvement.
- A high level of adaptability and readiness to contribute proactively, including undertaking hands-on tasks as required and prepared to step in and provide practical support in response to operational demands.
