About The Role

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Stage Presenter, Farm Tour Driver and Farm Hand plays a critical role in delivering memorable experiences for our manuhiri. You’ll be part presenter, part tour guide, and part farm hand, contributing to the care of our animals, the presentation of our world‑famous shows, and the day‑to‑day operations of a working farm.

Your role will include

  • Presenting in the World‑Famous Sheep Show and supporting stage operations
  • Guiding visitors on the farm tour by tractor, delivering engaging and informative commentary
  • Caring for farm and show animals and supporting animal wellbeing
  • Assisting with farm maintenance, equipment checks, and general operations
  • Supporting health and safety practices across tours and farm activities

This is a hands‑on, varied role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, engaging with people, and being part of a high‑performing team

About You

  • To succeed and thrive in this role, you will bring
  • Confidence working with and caring for farm animals
  • Confidence presenting or performing in front of live audiences
  • Experience operating tractors or similar machinery, or a strong willingness to learn
  • A natural ability to engage customers and deliver memorable experiences
  • A strong commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team, and visitors
  • Previous experience in tourism, customer service, or a similar people‑focused role
  • A full New Zealand driver licence and the ability to obtain a DL9 drivers medical certificate
