Account Administrator

We're looking for a capable and detail-focused Office Administrator / Accounts person to join a well-established, family-owned manufacturing and industrial business based in Rosebank, Avondale.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted with a wide mix of accounting, payroll, inventory, and general office responsibilities. You'll be working closely with a small, supportive team where your contribution genuinely keeps things running smoothly.

Experience with Accredo is ideal, but not essential. If you've used similar accounting or ERP systems before, you'll pick it up quickly.

Hours

Monday to Friday,

9:30am - 2:30pm (5 days per week)

Hours are flexible and can be discussed for the right person.

What Your Day Will Look Like

Accounts & Bank Reconciliation

  • Entering daily receipts and payments into the system
  • Completing bank reconciliations accurately and on time
  • Processing creditor payments, including overseas suppliers

Payroll & Compliance

  • Running payroll and ensuring accuracy
  • Managing IRD requirements including PAYE, GST, and FBT
  • Calculating, filing, and processing payments in line with compliance deadlines

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Processing invoices, credits, and rebates on sales and returns
  • Maintaining debtor and creditor accounts
  • Supporting month-end close across AR, AP, cashbook, stock, and GL

Inventory & Systems

  • Creating and maintaining inventory codes, BOMs, and product records
  • Recording stock received and updating system entries
  • Assisting with stocktakes, reconciliation, and final adjustments
  • Keeping pricing and product catalogues updated in Excel

Reporting & Month-End

  • Supporting month-end processes across all modules
  • Preparing GL accounts through to balance sheet stage
  • Assisting with journals and year-end adjustments alongside the accountant

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience in accounts administration or similar all-round finance role
  • Confidence working with payroll, GST, and basic IRD compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment where everyone pitches in
  • Experience with Accredo or similar systems (advantageous, not essential)
