Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

This is a part-time position 22.5 hours per week (9.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday), working with the team out of our Smales Farm, Takapuna office. You will be responsible for a range of administration tasks, as well as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. Duties will include:

  • Providing support to the Takapuna team and take ownership of all local administration processes
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the office, and answering all incoming calls to the office
  • Assisting in demonstration of equipment items to our clients (training will be provided)
  • Facilities management – coordinate maintenance and repairs for the office and for any office equipment
  • Managing stationary orders
  • Supporting fleet management for the office
  • Being responsible for opening and closing of the office

This position would suit a person who is good at problem solving, can take initiative and has the desire to make a difference. You will have exceptional organisational and time management skills, and be customer service focused and compassionate when interacting with supporters, clients, and the general public. We are looking for:

  • Previous experience within an administrative position
  • Experience in a similar customer facing position would be an advantage
  • Technically competent and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to show initiative
