Te Tūranga i The Role

The Business Manager works alongside a Business Director to support revenue generation through proactive account management and the identification of sales opportunities for Sky. This includes representing Sky to media buyers, promoting advertising opportunities, and managing an assigned portfolio of clients to deliver maximum revenue. The role involves building strong relationships with agencies and internal teams, maintaining market awareness, and ensuring smooth execution of client bookings and commitments.

NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Business Director in managing key agency accounts and driving revenue growth.
• Promote SKY advertising opportunities to clients and identify new sales prospects.
• Assist with sponsorship opportunities and the preparation of briefs for bookings.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of SKY’s advertising offerings and market position.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and booking processes.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
• Provide timely updates to management on market and client issues.
• Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to manage client activities and bookings.
• Ensure client benefits, such as ratings guarantees, are delivered as agreed.
• Stay informed about SKY content offerings and industry developments.
• Share relevant insights with the Business Director and team.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
• NCEA Level 3 English and Maths or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years’ experience in an advertising agency, media owner, or related environment.
• Exposure to sales or account management within a media or advertising context.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
