About The Role

At Gallagher, we build technology where accuracy, reliability, and compliance matter. We’re looking for a Test Engineering Lead to guide how we test and validate our products and systems—ensuring everything we release performs exactly as intended.

You’ll lead a team of test engineers and technicians, shaping test strategy and improving how we prove quality at every stage of development.

Testing is where confidence in our products is earned. Your work ensures that what we design performs reliably in the real world—meeting both customer expectations and regulatory demands.

What You’ll Do

You’ll take ownership of test strategy and execution across products and systems, making sure testing is structured, effective, and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Developing and implementing test strategies and methodologies
• Defining test requirements and specifications for new products and systems
• Overseeing test equipment setup and configuration
• Analysing test data to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
• Communicating test status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders

You’ll lead a team, setting clear expectations, aligning on goals, and ensuring strong delivery against priorities. You’ll create accountability, support development, and help build a capable, high-performing test function that partners effectively across engineering and manufacturing.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in test engineering, including leadership experience
• Strong background in test strategy development and execution
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE), test scripting, and data acquisition systems
• Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in engineering environments
• Practical decision-making approach with strong follow-through
