Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We have a fantastic permanent role for a LGOIMA Business Partner to join our Customer Care Team. In this role you will support the Head of Legal and wider AT teams to develop and execute the information management and privacy compliance strategy of Auckland Transport (AT).

In this role you’ll be responsible for leading AT’s response to information requests under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) and the Privacy Act. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage reputational risk, and promote proactive release of public interest information.

As a seasoned professional, you will bring significant experience within large scale, complex performance driven organizations.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in case management or issue resolution.
• Experience in contentious or regulatory environments is desirable.
• Strong judgement, political acumen, and resilience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion.
• Knowledge of local government law and privacy legislation.
• Technological literacy and analytical problem-solving skills.
