The Opportunity

Join the Finance Systems & Reinsurance Practice supporting Asteron's Finance & Actuarial teams. As a System Accountant, you'll bridge Finance and Oracle technology, enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls while supporting transformation and BAU activities in an agile environment.

How will you make an impact?

• Enhance Oracle ERP & EPM (FCCS, PBCS, TRCS) capability
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and testing
• Document current and future state processes
• Identify and deliver process and control improvements
• Collaborate across Finance, IT, and external vendors to drive outcomes

About you

• Proactive, outcome-driven, and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative with excellent stakeholder communication
• Comfortable working in agile environments and making pragmatic decisions

You'll bring

• Expertise in Oracle ERP & EPM and financial systems
• IFRS17 knowledge and strong accounting fundamentals
• Experience in system implementations (essential)
• Understanding of testing, data integrations, and controls

Ideal: CA qualification, life insurance experience, agile project delivery, and exposure to Oracle Fusion, ORMB or OFSAA.
