Senior Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operator looking to take the next step up. You will be supporting the Shift Leaders in managing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow of the warehouse. You will have a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.

This role offers a great work life balance, working on a 4 on 4 off rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

• Support the training and mentoring of junior operators, contributing to a positive, safe, and productive team environment
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve problems promptly to minimise downtime and delays
• Collect and deliver product samples as required
• Supply raw materials to the production line using a forklift
• Stack and organise finished goods within the warehouse in line with storage and safety procedures
• Operate semi-automatic pallet wrapping equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers as required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environment

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator with a Forklift Licence who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and brings a proactive, can-do attitude.

• Strong forklift experience (3.5–5 tonne preferred) with a minimum of 2 years’ operating experience
• Proven experience working with warehouse systems, including SAP and RF scanners
• Previous exposure to team leadership and coordination, supporting shift leaders and driving team efficiency
• Comfortable working shift patterns (2 days / 2 nights), with solid experience adapting to rotating shift work
• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team
