About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused STMS Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant installation and operation of temporary traffic management across worksites, in line with all legal and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective temporary traffic management, including site set-outs, Stop/Go control, and pilot vehicle operation
- Ensure all documentation, TMP requirements, and equipment checks are completed and compliant
- Lead and support Traffic Controllers and team members to deliver work safely and efficiently
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring SHEQ compliance and reporting of incidents
- Identify and communicate improvements to enhance operational performance
Additional Details
- Based in Paeroa and working across the Hauraki District (Waikato Region)
- Full-time, permanent role with minimum 40 hours a week
- Hourly rate of 27 to 32 NZD
About You
- Practicing warrant from the NZTA.
- Full Class 1 driver licence (minimum requirement)
- 2-3 years of traffic management experience required; Supervisory experience would be favoured.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
