We’re thrilled to announce the opening for a Customer Activation Manager – New Zealand, reporting to the Head of Customer Marketing ANZ. As the Customer Activation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering customer‑centric activation programs across the Moët Hennessy New Zealand portfolio. You will lead the execution of our Big Bets, elevate customer partnerships, and ensure our brands show up with excellence across On‑Premise, Off‑Premise and E‑retail channels. By championing a 3‑way win mindset and delivering premium, insight‑led activations, you will strengthen brand desirability and drive commercial impact.

Overview Of The Position

This role exists to deliver exceptional customer activations that enhance MHNZ’s market presence, deepen customer engagement, and elevate the luxury experience for consumers. You will be the driving force behind bringing our brand strategies to life in New Zealand, ensuring every activation is executed with precision, creativity and commercial intent. Success in this role looks like seamless delivery, strong customer relationships, and activations that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of MHNZ Big Bets and customer activation programs across On‑Premise, Off‑Premise and E‑retail channels, ensuring premium and consistent brand representation.
  • Co‑lead joint business planning with key customers to design and deliver mutually beneficial programs that drive brand and commercial outcomes.
  • Bring customer plans to life through bespoke activations, including digital components, that deliver a 3‑way win for MHNZ, customers and consumers.
  • Manage agency partners to deliver high‑quality, on‑brand activation assets and experiences aligned with global luxury standards.
  • Support the On‑Premise Everyday Fundamentals program by equipping and inspiring the sales team to execute with excellence year‑round.
  • Track, analyse and report on activation performance, providing insights and ROI measurement to inform future planning.
  • Manage activation budgets with discipline, ensuring efficient allocation of A&P and strong financial governance.
  • Partner with Australian brand teams to secure merchandise, creative assets and campaign materials for the New Zealand market.

Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, customer activation or trade marketing, ideally within FMCG, luxury or wine/spirits.
  • A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and a strong understanding of shopper and channel dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, agencies and stakeholders with precision and creativity.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and confidence working with budgets and ROI metrics.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to partner closely with Sales and Key Accounts.
  • A proactive, agile mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
