We're looking for a commercially astute finance leader who wants to play a meaningful role in shaping what comes next.

Reporting directly to the GM and working closely with the T&G Global CFO, this role sits at the heart of strategic decision making, investment governance and commercial leadership.

You will be a trusted advisor, thought partner and challenger, helping guide decisions that drive long the term value creation across a diverse portfolio of global ventures, investments and operating businesses.

About the opportunity

As Head of Finance & Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of VGL.

You'll provide commercial and financial leadership across investment opportunities, strategic planning, governance and operational performance, while leading the continued evolution of the finance function.

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is energised by growth, change and building capability.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Partnering closely with the GM to drive strategic and commercial outcomes

• Leading commercial evaluation of acquisitions, investments and growth opportunities

• Providing financial leadership across VGL's portfolio of businesses, joint ventures and investments

• Supporting Board and governance forums with insightful commercial analysis and recommendations

• Driving performance improvement, financial discipline and scalable operating frameworks

• Leading the development of a standalone finance capability to support future growth

• Helping shape and execute the long-term strategy for VGL

About you

You'll be commercially curious, adaptable and energised by opportunity. You'll enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, and you'll have the confidence to challenge thinking while building strong, trusted relationships.

You may currently be a:

• CFO of a mid-sized business

• Finance Director or Head of Finance seeking broader commercial responsibility

• Commercial finance leader looking for a genuine executive leadership opportunity

You'll bring:

• Significant senior finance leadership experience within a complex business environment

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability

• Experience influencing executive teams, Boards and key stakeholders

• The ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with operational execution

• Experience leading teams and developing capability

• A growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo

Experience with investments, acquisitions, joint ventures or international operations will be highly regarded.
