About The Role

We are currently looking for 2 Corporate Planning Advisors to support the mahi here at Council. These roles are ideal for those who enjoy big-picture thinking and detailed delivery, leaning into research and analysis to help provide advice to help inform decision making. You'll support the planning and reporting that underpins our strategic direction, from the Long Term Plan and Annual Plan to our internal business planning processes and quarterly reporting. You'll be working closely with the Corporate Planning Lead and colleagues across the organisation to make sure we stay aligned, transparent, and effective.

What You'll Do

• Supporting the development and monitoring of our corporate planning and reporting processes
• Advising on business planning and operational priorities
• Contributing to council accountability documents like the Annual Plan and Annual Report
• Undertake research, evaluation and data analysis to inform planning and decision-making
• Analysing internal and external risks that may impact delivery
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights and practical advice

About You

• Experience in business planning, project coordination or reporting
• Ability to interpret and analyse data to support strategic decision-making
• Clear and confident communication skills - written and verbal
• A collaborative style and the ability to influence across an organisation
• Bonus: Experience working with local government planning and accountability processes
