Inwards Manager

Looking for a highly organized and proactive Inwards Manager to lead and manage all inbound warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring all incoming stock, containers, and shipments are received accurately, processed efficiently, and stored correctly to support smooth warehouse and distribution operations.

Location: Nelson

Remuneration: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Minimum 30 hours/week guaranteed)

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management
• Experience managing inbound shipments and container receiving
• Strong understanding of stock control and inventory processes
• Experience working with freight companies and customs procedures
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Forklift licence preferred
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Experience using warehouse or ERP systems such as Odoo, Ostendo, or similar systems is advantageous

Minimum requirements

A bachelor’s degree or higher (or overseas equivalent); or at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, inbound logistics, or distribution operations.
