Weekend Shift Team Member

Red Stag Timber operates a high capacity Planer mill with the latest technology! Our Planer mill runs an automated timber sorting and stacking machinery, and uses high-speed gauging, mechanical stress and computerised visual grading systems.

A permanent vacancy has arisen in our Planer mill Weekend shift team for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit team member with a safety first attitude!

Hours of work are Friday – Sunday working x3 12 hour shifts, 6.00am - 6.40pm. A generous Weekend Shift Allowance applies for this position.

Rotational duties at various workstations include

Operating Automated Timber Stacking machinery and Fillet placing

Recording and Tagging Timber

Packet Wrapping & Strapping

Manual Timber Handling

Safe Operation of Secondary Processing Plant and Equipment

Previous experience will be favourable; however, a ‘can-do’ attitude is essential to be part of our team. A full pre-employment medical & drug screening will be required for the successful candidate.
