Senior Civil Engineer

A well-established Christchurch-based surveying practice is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to lead their in-house civil engineering capability,

This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on technical role while shaping the future direction of the civil function within a growing business.

The Role

• Deliver civil design across subdivisions, rural developments, multi-unit projects, and 3 waters infrastructure
• Set up and manage civil engineering systems, templates, and modelling processes
• Work closely with an established surveying team and support project delivery
• Engage directly with clients and contribute to maintaining strong relationships

About You

• 8–15 years’ civil engineering experience, ideally within the Christchurch/NZ market
• Strong land development civil design capability across land development and three waters related projects
• Confident working both independently and within a small team environment
• Client-facing with strong communication skills
• Motivated by the opportunity to build and grow a function within a business
• CPEng NZ is essential
