He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
We’re extending our People team, and these new roles will support and work alongside the wider team including our Business Partners. This is a generalist position where you will be involved in day-to-day Employment Relations support whilst also leading and delivering on People and Capability ER projects and initiatives.
This role will have a specialist element and will play a key role in implementing our People pillars and projects that impact the whole business.
Here is what you could be involved with on any given day:
- Providing support to business leaders and Business Partners with ER cases
- Offering employment relations expertise, including keeping abreast of relevant legislation
- Providing insightful reporting on People metrics and using data to drive business improvement
- For the right candidate, building and inputting into our wider Employment and Industrial Relations approach
- Driving our People calendar, our operational trackers and policy updates
- Developing and contributing to a range of people solutions/projects that meet the changing needs of the business
- Contributing to and delivering a People strategy aligned to the business needs and company plan

In This Role You Will Bring
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with and negotiate with a broad range of people
- Strong Employment Relations expertise including being the SME in employment legislation
- A focus on improving things for the future and coaching people leaders
- The ability to flex between employment relations advisory and project work
If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory, in-house legal or ER Lead role
- Experience providing ER support to senior stakeholders
- In depth Knowledge of employment legislation and end-to-end employee life-cycle activities
