Are you an organised, delivery-focused professional who thrives on turning strategy into action? Cotality is seeking a Data Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the rollout, operation, and continuous improvement of Cotality's Data Platforms across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive the strategic execution of our transformation roadmap by coordinating data sourcing, ingestion, and improvements in identification and lifecycle management.

What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate Transformation Workstreams: Lead the end-to-end coordination of data transformation workstreams, from sourcing and ingestion through to validated, production-ready datasets.
- Define Roadmaps: Define and maintain data product roadmaps for identification and lifecycle domains, translating business requirements into actionable platform deliverables.
- Partner with Technical Teams: Partner with data engineers and architects to design scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines that meet quality, lineage, and latency requirements.
- Drive Data Quality: Establish and run data quality frameworks across identification datasets, including profiling, validation rules, and issue resolution processes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Coordinate with product managers, data scientists, segment leads, and global teams to ensure data assets are fit for purpose and accessible through the platform.
- Manage Planning & Delivery: Oversee workstream planning, including scope definition, milestone tracking, dependency mapping, and risk escalation.
- Operational Embedment: Support the operational embedment of new platform components by documenting data contracts, metadata standards, and usage guidelines.
- Supplier Engagement: Engage with third-party data suppliers and internal data stewards to manage data sourcing agreements and refresh cycles.
Job Qualifications
What You Will Bring
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in a data product, data management, or data transformation role within a complex data environment.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute data product roadmaps, manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Working knowledge of cloud data platforms and services across GCP and AWS.
- Proficiency with relational databases and hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience working with geospatial data, including coordinate systems, map projections, and tools such as ESRI ArcGIS or Carto.
- Solid understanding of geocoding concepts and processes (address parsing, geocoding pipelines, confidence scoring, and reverse geocoding).
- Strong understanding of data quality, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to align on delivery outcomes.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the property data ecosystem, including land titles, valuation, and address/location data in AU or NZ markets.
- Exposure to Cotality products and datasets, or equivalent property intelligence platforms.
- Experience with entity matching and record linkage techniques (deterministic/probabilistic matching, deduplication, and survivorship rules) applied to property data.
- Ability to read and navigate code repositories (Git/GitHub/GitLab) to assess current-state data pipelines and transformations.
- Experience working with APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) to understand data flows and system integration points.
- Tertiary education in Information Technology, Data, Business, or a relevant discipline.
