About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, this role plays a key part in strengthening Fonterra’s security through effective vulnerability management across a complex technology environment.
As Manager – Vulnerability Management, you will be accountable for identifying, prioritising, and driving the remediation of security vulnerabilities and exposures, ensuring they are managed in a risk-based, consistent, and transparent way.
You will translate threat intelligence and vulnerability data into clear, actionable remediation outcomes aligned to business priorities and Fonterra’s risk appetite. Working closely with internal teams and vendor partners, you will enable informed decision-making, reduce cyber risk, and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed with pace and precision to protect the Co-op.
About You | Mōu
You are an experienced vulnerability management professional with a strong foundation in Information Security or IT, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent experience. You bring deep expertise in vulnerability management practices, frameworks, and lifecycle processes, with hands-on experience across configuration and patch management in complex enterprise environments spanning both IT and OT.
You work closely with internal and service provider infrastructure, application, and cloud teams, taking a collaborative approach to driving remediation outcomes. You are confident influencing across teams without direct authority, building strong relationships to deliver results. You communicate clearly, translating technical risks into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
