Transdev Train Managers support the business by providing a high standard of service to customers, by ensuring their safety and comfort, while answering enquiries and undertaking ticket and revenue collection functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Operation of carriage rail services, in accordance with authorised instructions applicable to Train Managers.
• Be safety conscious and proactive regarding safety issues
• Issuing of tickets and collection of revenue.
• Train operations including coupling trains and preparing them for service.
• Complete and submit reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Effectively handle concerns raised by customers.
• Promote Transdev's services by demonstrating excellence in customer service.
• Work with the bus replacement providers in emergency situations
• Effectively manage disruptions to services in a professional and efficient manner.
• Hand operation of motor points will be required from time to time.

These roles only work for people living in the Wairarapa given some of the shift start and finish times.
