Workplace Experience Officer – Commercial
At Aurecon, we are optimistic about the future. We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future.
We are looking for a Workplace Experience Officer to join our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland office in Newmarket on a full-time, site-based basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in changing the way we deliver Workplace Experience.
What You’ll Do
As one of the first points of contact in our stunning Auckland office, you’ll bring our brand to life by creating an inclusive, welcoming environment and delivering memorable experiences for clients, visitors and employees. This is more than your regular front of house role; this is a busy and varied opportunity where your ideas and input will be welcomed as you grow in the role and make it your own.
Here are the key things you will do to in your everyday:
- Anticipate client, visitor, and employee needs and offer a seamless and memorable experience.
- Help organise and support a busy events calendar across multiple locations, including DEI initiatives, Limelight events and Auckland office monthly socials, while coordinating catering, logistics and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the smooth running of the office facilities, coordinating office maintenance, security passes, lockers, and repairs.
- Work closely with the Workplace Experience Coordinator and wider New Zealand Workplace team to keep communication channels up to date.
- Be proactive and continuously look for ways to improve the client and employee experience.
- Support day-to-day office operations including tasks such as inventory management, mailroom duties, fleet assistance and general administrative responsibilities.
- Proactively engage with and develop strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business, including ad hoc tasks.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll have a genuine passion for workplace experience and customer service. We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following
- Proven experience working in a customer focused role, ideally within a dynamic environment or with exposure to event planning.
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to quickly pick up new systems, stay organised and juggle competing priorities.
- An adaptable, resilient team player who is passionate about delivering seamless customer experiences and supporting others in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication.
- A current New Zealand driver licence is required.
