Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the provision of a high-quality maintenance service that ensures property maintenance, planned programmes and minor capital work is accurately prioritised, processed and delivered in a timely manner and to budget.
Other key tasks include monitoring and reporting on all maintenance work and contractor performance and competence, as well as working collaboratively with other Kainga Ora business units and teams to ensure that maintenance is delivered to agreed standards and that customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in a property or maintenance-related field, or equivalent experience in construction/building and working with contractors.
- Experience in programme maintenance workflows and building maintenance, coupled with a sound knowledge, and understanding of contract issues.
- A customer-centric approach, with the ability to multitask and pick up new skills quickly.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to understand and apply processes, along with computer literacy with the Microsoft Office suite.
- A current and full New Zealand driver's licence is also required in this role.
