Stabilising Engineer

Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for a Stabilising Engineer to join our team in Hamilton, supporting projects across
Waikato and around New Zealand.
This is a hands-on role with our national operations crew, where you’ll help plan, coordinate and deliver civil works that matter. You’ll be trusted to manage moving parts, solve problems on the go, and keep projects tracking safely, efficiently and to a high standard. If you like variety, real responsibility, and being part of a team that backs good ideas over big titles, this could be your place.
This role involves regular travel across New Zealand and extended periods away from home. Most work is completed
Monday to Friday, with weekend work, travel, and occasional night shift work required during busy periods. It’s a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, adapts well, and is ready to do good work wherever the job takes them.

Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan,
Good Work is about more than what we build. It’s how we show up for each other, our customers and our communities. We’re flat, friendly and forward moving. That means less ego, fewer layers, and more backing for people to speak up, pitch in and make an impact.
We do serious work, but we’re not overly serious people. We take the work seriously, not ourselves. You’ll join a team that values safety, performance, honesty and progress, while still being easy to work with day to day.
Our people help create, connect and care for communities across New Zealand. We support local causes, invest in better ways of delivering infrastructure, and work to reduce our environmental impact while lifting standards across our industry.
