PwC New Zealand is seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our dynamic Customer Transformation team in Auckland. You will play a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of Salesforce/nCino solutions to support large-scale technology-enabled transformation projects.

You will leverage your extensive technical expertise and experience, including your skills with AI, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop architectural blueprints, detailed documentation and developer briefs for proposed solutions.
  • Design integration architecture between Salesforce/nCino and legacy systems for our clients.
  • Ensure all PwC processes and Risk activities are completed according to PwC Global and Local standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective Salesforce and Enterprise Solutions.
  • Identify, support and drive opportunities with existing and new clients within a team environment.
  • Provide strategic guidance and best practices to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
  • Technical Leadership for our team and across our portfolio of clients driving best practice solution leadership
  • Leverage AI where possible to accelerate efficiency, accuracy and consistency for project delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce/nCino ecosystem preferably within the public sector, Financial Services sector, and/or Utilities sector.
  • Been involved in implementations of Salesforce/nCino preferably within enterprise size clients.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field along with relevant Salesforce certifications. Application and System architecture certifications are desirable.
  • Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Excellent understanding of CRM architecture, integration, and functional configuration.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency leveraging AI and proven experiences using AI in a work context.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain English to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to travel within New Zealand as needed.
  • Customer-friendly attitude with a focus on building strong client relationships.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
