Website Content Specialist

We're looking for a Website Content Specialist to join our Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering parental leave. This role is based in Wellington.

This is a key role focused on refreshing MAS website content to better reflect our tone of voice and member-first approach. You'll take the lead in reviewing, rewriting and restructuring content so it's clear, consistent and easy for our Members to navigate.

You'll play a hands-on role shaping how our content is organised and experienced online - helping create simpler, more intuitive journeys for Members.

What You'll Be Doing

• You'll work across the full website content lifecycle, including:
• Leading a comprehensive review and refresh of website content
• Rewriting and simplifying content using plain language principles
• Improving content structure, navigation and user journeys
• Supporting content migration into new templates and formats
• Maintaining accuracy, consistency and governance of website content
• Applying SEO best practice to improve visibility
• Working closely with internal teams and agency partners to deliver updates
• Providing guidance on content quality, tone of voice and digital experience

What You'll Bring

• We're looking for someone who combines strong writing capability with a practical, outcomes-focused approach:
• Proven experience in website content, content strategy or digital content roles
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
• Experience working with CMS platforms and managing website content
• Strong understanding of SEO and content performance tools
• Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
• A high level of attention to detail and organisation
• You'll also bring a collaborative mindset and be comfortable working across Marketing, Digital, Product, Legal and Compliance teams.
