About The Role
The Core Tribe is the heart of the bank providing all the online / real-time transactional services that power ASB. As an SAP Principal Engineer, you will be supporting the SAP squad on a large migration project including modernizing some of our core legacy products by being closing involved with the migration journey . This role reports to the Tribe Tech Lead. Your everyday tasks would be to ensure you:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and delivery squads to architect and design technical solutions/HLSD where needed for Business Requirements including NFRs.
- Support Customer Experience Owner (CxO), and the team during Increment Planning and to input into creating and refining Epics and Features where needed.
- Work closely the BAs, Architects, Stakeholders, and wider SAP Team to deliver effective and efficient solutions on SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking (TRBK) platform that meets Business Requirements and ASB & APRA Controls.
- Work with Suppliers, Vendors and Partners to support the SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking Platform (TRBK) platform and champion migration of legacy products to TRBK.
- Continuously look for opportunities to optimise customer/staff journeys using standard TRBK & BTP OOTB functionalities.
- Support and perform audits to inspect that a clean core platform is maintained.
- Actively work with the SAP Focus Area to build efficiencies within the team.
- Provide thought leadership on the Core modernization journey and SAP Best Practices.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Over 15+ years of strong experience in designing and delivering SAP solutions with SAP Banking Services.
- Knowledge in S/4HANA TRBK, BTP and Fiori is an added advantage.
- Strong Banking Services background.
- Ability to guide and mentor SAP Functionals, Developers and Testers where needed.
- Proven ability to deliver strong customer and business outcomes with a can-do attitude and growth & learning mindset.
Outcomes You Are Responsible For
- Business/System Requirements Analysis: Work closely with relevant stakeholders to understand and solution the business requirements.
- System Design: Design the SAP TRBK platform to meet the specific needs of the business users.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional engineers, Developers and Testers providing technical guidance and support.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance engineering efficient and effectiveness.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to SAP team, end users and other stakeholders, ensuring they are proficient in using the SAP system.
- System Testing and Quality Assurance: Review system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the system meets all requirements.
- Documentation: Review project and system documentation where needed.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any critical escalated issues that arise during the implementation (migration) and maintenance of the SAP TRBK System.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest TRBK Functional trends and technologies to continuously improve our Core Banking solutions.
