About the role
Assisting the reporting lines in the business strategy, leadership and day-to-day team management and workflow of a diverse and multiple client account group.
A key relationship holder in the agency supporting both the senior management team (GAD/ CSD/ HoC / GM/MD/) in driving the business forward, striving to deliver business objectives; and the client service teams (AD/SAM/AM/SAE/AE), providing leadership, support and management of the teams, to deliver first in class client service and the development of their individual team roles. Leading the team in strategic thinking and offering, and devising and creating, as well as implementing innovative strategies, while providing outstanding client service and product delivery across designated accounts, on both an individual and team basis.
Effective senior level contribution across the agency and PHD Group. Taking a leadership position in new business opportunities, driving client portfolios forward, expanding the range of services that we provide for each client and participating in PHD Content and other PHD Group business initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualified, supplemented by 7-10 years of strong PR and comms experience, including client relationship management.
- Significant experience leading account service teams.
- Sound understanding of PR comms fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities across a number of channels.
- Strategic thinker comfortable working at all levels of an organisation, who can participate in senior discussions regarding business and communications strategy.
- Strong decision making which takes into account multiple stakeholders and their issues.
- Able to deliver broad business thinking as well as having the ability to deliver against processes and attention to detail that come with accounts of this scale.
- Able to work at speed and has agility when required. Is entirely comfortable with an ever-changing landscape..
- Ability to engage and influence senior individuals/stakeholders/decision makers within your client group.
- Ability to challenge others (internal, client or creative agency) using appropriate approach and diplomacy to secure desired outcome.
- Ability to build strong relationships at a senior level with staff, clients and other third parties.
- Shows leadership qualities – leads by example, builds positive culture across all agency levels.
- Confident presenter at large meetings/conferences in an articulate and clear manner.
- Has a proven track record of leading and motivating a team of people..
- Ability to foster agency culture and cross agency collaboration and integration.
- Future focused.
